Ah…the Dunedin Breakfast. The most important meal of the day…
Please note: We are currently updating the images on our website. and, whilst we realise just how tempting it may be to show potential guests images of a Dunedin breakfast, we've decided to take the risk! Please check back later...
There are many things you’ll remember from your stay in the Kingdom of Fife and we’re quietly confident that a Dunedin breakfast with be right up there as one of the highlights. All ingredients are sourced locally and prepared for you with care and attention to detail.
Because Dunedin isn’t a large, anonymous hotel taking your breakfast from freezer, to microwave to plate, we’ll ask what you would like for breakfast the evening before. This allows us to give you the freshest and tastiest breakfast we possibly can.
We grind our own Columbian blend coffee and offer mint tea, green tea or why not enjoy a pot of our (extra)ordinary tea, served of course with white and wholemeal toast, jams & marmalades.
Fresh fruit juice and a selection of cereals are always available including our “fruity” muesli, or you could have a delicious bowl of Dunedin porridge – just tell us how you like it - but remember to leave room for the rest of your breakfast!
For the health conscious guest, our Continental breakfast consists of a fruit salad, freshly made for you and served with delicious yoghurt and if you still have room, how about a warmed croissant and cheese…heaven!
Guests requesting a cooked breakfast will be offered dishes according to availability such as:
· Toasted muffin with ham or bacon, topped with poached egg, hollandaise sauce & grilled Scottish tomato
· Sliced Scottish salmon with delicious scrambled egg served and a warmed croissant.
· Traditional (but still delicious) sausage, bacon, egg, tomato etc.
Breakfast is served from 7.30 am and last breakfast is served at 8.30am (later on a Sunday).
